Bayonne used to be one of the safest cities in the country but in the past few decades the morons in City Hall have been allowing the building of Section 8 Housing in our town and sadly, poor people make for bad neighbors.

A poor family here and there is not the problem but if you put a hundred of them together in one building, you breed packs of wild animals.

Here’s what happened last Sunday:

CBS New York, 8 Jul 2011, Rutgers Graduate Dawid Strucinski Beaten Into Coma During Fight In Bayonne

A young New Jersey man is in a coma fighting for his life after police said he was attacked by more than a dozen people over the weekend.

Police said Dawid Strucinski was on his way home from a convenience store in Bayonne around 3 a.m. Sunday morning when he came to the aid of a friend who was engaged in a fight with a group of teenagers.

Police said the 22-year-old suffered severe head trauma after a mob of 13 to 20 people repeatedly punched and kicked him in the head. Strucinski remains in intensive care at Jersey City Medical Center.

Investigators said they arrested two teenagers on Friday, in addition to the three Bayonne teens picked up on Thursday — a 16-year-old boy, and two teenage girls, aged 17 and 14.

Charges are pending against three other juveniles.

It should be noted that the 16 year old boy is a known trouble maker with the police. (1)

Bayonne Mayor Mark Smith dispelled reports that this was gang-related or had anything to do with race. We shall see.

If these things keep happening I would be in favor of razing the Section 8 Buildings and sending our poor somewhere else. And yes, I’m jumping to conclusions that this is a black on white crime.

Friends and family said yesterday that Strucinski is breathing on his own but remains in a coma at Jersey City Medical Center.

Hudson Reporter, Assault suspect has history of violent crime

A 16-year-old Bayonne boy charged with the assault that left 22-year-old David Strucinski of Bayonne in a coma on July 3 is also facing assault and weapons charges for a previous offense, police said.

Police said he had a history of violent crime and that he was facing weapon possession and assault charges in another matter prior to this incident, that may have involved the use of a baseball bat.
